Hola peoples,

Happy Sunday.

You know… I’ve gotta get better at taking my days off… well… off.

I work so much during the week that I don’t have much time to get things done at home that need to get done, like the Honda Accord that’s needed new rear struts. I want to get that car sold (well, part of me wants to sell it, and part of me doesn’t. I want the money that it’s worth, but I also want the car to drive. It’s a nice little car. I like it), but people don’t want to buy it with bad rear struts.

So I spent a few hours today removing and replacing the rear struts, and then I took it out for a drive to test it out, driving over and visiting my friend Miguel for a bit.

Other than that… I don’t really feel like I did anything today. Well, I organized my tools a little bit because I’ve been spending so much time trying to find the right tools that it’s… well… wasted a lot of time.

I do want to get myself a work van purchased here soon. I’m really tired of having vehicles that are too small to hold what I need. It’s sooooo much extra work having to clean out, re-organize, etc., I just want to be able to go, go, go without having to periodically spend hours to clean everything out and reorganize things.

Anyway, I haven’t bought another work van yet because I want to get a good deal on one, and I havent found one yet that I’m excited about. I really need a full size van–preferably like an E350 or something like that–something that can carry everything I want it to carry and can tow a trailer with a piece of heavy equipment on it.

Honestly, folks, I don’t have much to say today. I almost slipped back into migraine world this morning, but I managed to avert disaster by eating and drinking and whatnot. Hopefully I’m getting caught up.

Anyway, not much interesting to share today, and I’m sort of in a funk, mood wise, so might just be best to call it a day.

Gratitude first, though…

#1. I’m grateful that the Accord struts are replaced. It’ll be nice to get the ad up and to not have lots of things hanging over it to get it sold. I’m gonna list it for $4900. We’ll see how it goes. Probably won’t get that out of it, but we’ll see. Perhaps I’ll drive it to Utah and sell it?

#2. Let’s see… I’m grateful for string cheese. Love the stuff.

#3. I’m grateful for social media and just modern communication technologies, in general. So useful.

#4. I’m grateful for portable fans to blow on my face while I sleep.

#5. I’m grateful for my white noise app that lets me sleep peacefully without waking up because of the slightest noise around me. It sounds so much like a rainstorm that sometimes I even wake up thinking I’m hearing an actual storm.

Well, my peeps, if all that you get out of this is that I did it, hopefully that’s inspiring enough for today. Boring post. I know. Sorry about that.

I’m just sort of… blasé…

But… I have made it another day on each of my thingies (21, 29, 20, I think?). That’s great progress. Have a 7:00 a.m. job tomorrow, so I’ll start exercise Tuesday. Exercise is gonna be a hard one. I like my late nights!

Good night, folks.

Lift the World.

  1. Catching up on missed posts. 🙂 A work fan sounds like it would provide perfect functionality! I’m going to have to look up E350 because I have no idea what it is. 🙂 🙂
    Sending love! 🙂
