I’m adding The Daily to my list of things I’m keeping track of. I’m not going to do this as an in-a-row thing, but as a percentage of success rate based on worthy effort given (meaning that I didn’t simply choose not to do something out of laziness or forget to do something because I wasn’t actually giving a sincere effort to remember).
Of course, this feels like a pretty rigid schedule, but I’m going to give myself plenty of wiggle room. Spirit of the law, here, as long as the things get done. That said, getting up, going to bed, and meditation/study times I think are going to be pretty well fixed. I need to get good sleep, and I’ve found that for me, perhaps the best study time is when the rest of the world is quiet and asleep, and I alone am awake in quiet stillness. I love that.
Hopefully, with the help of this little daily checklist, I’ll get myself even more back to where I used to be, and then I can move forward from there.
