Hola, peeps. Happy Wednesday?
It’s been another crazy day, but another boring journal entry.
Sorry 😕
I’m tired. It’s been a very long day. Since my tech (we’ll call him John) was out so late last night, I told him to go ahead and sleep in this morning. So he did, and then he called about 9, and he didn’t sound good, so I told him to roll over and sleep another hour, and he was like, you know, I think I’ll take the day, so I gave him the day off, which put me in quite a bind. (I’m not sorry I gave him the day. Health is more important, so I was fine with it. Just… hard to figure out the day when crazy things get suddenly that much crazier. 🙃
I ended up pushing stuff out, turning down jobs, suggesting to some to go elsewhere, etc. Good thing, too, because I only got two jobs done today. Fuel pump and water pump. Both took a lot longer than I wanted. Shout out to my buddy Jimmy, though, for helping with the latter job. He helped in some key ways that helped speed things up.
I’ve been trying to take Thursdays off, but I think I might have promised a couple people I’d help them tomorrow. I really could use a day off right now. I’m not in a very good space. Not really bad, just not good. Might have something to do with the lack of sleep from last night. We’ll see.
Anyway, on the bright side, I did go buy a bunch of rabbit food today, and I promised a friend of mine that I’d take care of myself physically with my eating an hydration. So… I’ve been working harder at that today. So that’s some progress. I need to get sleep, though. I’m gonna get back to my schedule. I need to do that. It’s been a fun little week of diversions in the late evening, but I need to get back to being able to do my meditation and study early in the morning after a good sleep. That’s the best for me.
#1. I’m grateful I was able to get the fuel pump done okay on the first job. I had to jerry rig some things to get it together (it has already been jerry rigged, and so I had to re-do some jerry rigging that fought me a good bit. I still don’t like it, but it is what it is.
#2. I’m grateful that I had some hose with an old hanger inside. It makes it so much easier to siphon the crap out of the tank when you don’t have tubing that’s trying to curl everywhere while you’re trying to suck up debris.
#3. I’m grateful to be able to go to sleep in a bed with white noise, a fan, and comfortable temperatures.
#4. I’m grateful to have found produce at decent prices, although Walmart’s apples have been terrible lately.
#5. I’m had a conversation with a friend today that was exactly like the type I hope to have with my wife some day. It was this ego-free, work together kind of thing. Soooo cool.
I think that’s going to be all for tonight, folks. Thank, and sorry it’s a boring read today. Loves and hugs to you, at the very least.
Lift the World.
