Hey folks π.
Happy weekend to you π.
It’s been another good day over here. I got John going pretty well, with everything set up and last night for the day today. So we were well organized, and amazingly, the day went according to planned!
It was also a pretty quiet day on the phone front, so that made it much easier to get my morning study and meditation time in. That was really nice.
I surprised my brother Richard at his house this morning, and hung out with him for an hour or so. He showed me all the projects he’s been working on with building his house and everything. Lots and lots of work finishing the basement, tile, bathroom stuff… He’s done soooooo much work.
We talked about good bit about what’s been going on in his life lately as well. It was good to catch up with him.
I caught him at the perfect time, too, because he was getting ready to go do lunch with my other brother (Jared), so I just went with him and surprised my other brother as well. Good times. Costa vida in Herriman/Riverton area.
Let’s see, after that I went and visited my buddy Matt, one of my really good friends from my University of Utah days. We used to go on a bunch of random fun adventures back in the day. Lots of good memories. Good times. We might be getting together tomorrow to hang out a bit. Things are a bit different than the old days, but it’s still good.
Let’s see… From there, I drove back to my little spot at the mouth is AF canyon, and say by the creek while I started organizing the work day for my techs tomorrow. My new guy (my friend Jimmy) is gonna be out working for me tomorrow. I’ve got one job scheduled for just him, and then he’ll be shadowing John around the rest of the day, unless I can get him some more to do on his own. Hopefully I can. We’ll see.
Other than that, I’ve been chatting a good bit with my friend Brittani, and buying lots of tools on Amazon for Jimmy, so he’s *prepared* with the right equipment for the jobs that need to be done.
#1. I am grateful to have been able to visit with my brother’s today. It was good to see them both.
#2. I am grateful that my car is still doing just fine and that I have decently working air conditioning that can actually freeze me out when I’m driving down the road. It’s not so great sitting in the parking lot, but it’s good enough, and it’s super cold driving down the freeway.
#3. I’m grateful that I was able to meet up with my friend Matt and to talk about possibly getting together again before I leave.
#4. I’m grateful to be in a better space the last couple 2 to 3 days after having a really rough Monday and Tuesday.
#5. I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep facing challenges, so that I can grow.
Well folks, I’m late tonight, but at least I got a decent journal entry written. π
I’m thinking about going to Washington to visit. We’ll see. I’m playing everything by ear. Things are a bit crazy for me right now, but there’s probably a really good chance I head up that way, especially if I can get Jimmy going without me even needing to be there.
Good night, my lovelies π.
Lift the World.
