Holar, peeps!
Happy Monday 😊.
Let’s see… I took it easy today, choosing to do only one car myself and sort of… making it a leisurely day in some respects. I didn’t get much of anything done, given how little I had to do, but… that’s okay. It’s nice to have a slower day. I’m gonna plan in a lot more of those over the colder months, I think. 😊
So… yeah. I slept in. I was able to do a decent job of putting the proper things in their proper priorities today. That’s, of course, one of my big focuses right now.
I’m making progress at eating down the out-of-date food storage. I couldn’t think of a use I wanted to make out of the canned beans (too lazy to cook anything), so I decided, hey, maybe I can do a bean smoothie.
Sounds… gross… but… it wasn’t too bad, actually, and apparently, I didn’t check until after I’d made my bean smoothie, there are a lot of recipes out there for great bean smoothies, and they’re super healthy for you, lots less sugar, lots more filling. (way more filling. I can down a 60oz fruit smoothie, and I was full after… maybe 30 oz of a bean smoothie?
Go bean smoothies!
I’m out of sour cream. I might not buy any more. We’ll see. It’s hard to keep weight on when you get rid of dairy as well. We’ll see. I’m almost out of milk as well… so… decisions decisions. Do I go back to what I was before? No sugar, no dairy, no junk food, no red meat…?
Decisions decisions…
So… yeah… bean smoothie today. Lots of macaroni and cheese (two full boxes). Have maybe two more boxes to go, and I don’t plan on buying any more. Haven’t decided what to do with all the tuna. We have tuna coming out our tuna, but one 5 oz can of tuna for an adult is the max in a week from the health department or whatever, because of the high mercury content. You can have more if it’s the light tuna varieties, but… we have tons of tuna. Even at a can a week, it’ll be… a long time before I eat through all the old stuff.
Progress, though. You’d think there’d be a way to remove mercury from food in the processing… uh… process.
Apparently not? 🙃
Anyway, fun stuff. I’m starting to work more actively toward working even less and devoting more time to the things that will make more of a difference. I keep having insights that I want to share, but they take so much time to write out, and I get to my journal so late already that I don’t have time, so I don’t get them written down for much of anyone but my own brain. Hopefully, my changes with work will give me more time to get those things written down and shared. Need to make more time for the most important things.
#1. I’m grateful for a slower day today.
#2. I’m grateful for this little TENS unit I bought. It was dirt cheap, and it’s… fun. Don’t know how helpful it will or will not be, but it’s… fun, at least. 😊
#3. I’m grateful that I was pretty happy today. Progress in choosing faith and trust and happiness.
#4. I’m grateful that I was able to be decent at choosing to prioritize things. I wasn’t perfect, but I definitely made an improvement.
#5. I’m grateful to be able to help people with their car needs.
Loves and hugs to all of you.
Lift the world.

Wow! Even I haven’t tried a bean smoothie! Could be on my list. I’m so glad you had a good day.
