2020-12-16 — The First Computer

Hiya, folks!

Okay, 8:58… Two minutes to write in my journal, floss, brush, let my super late dinner settle and get out of my stomach, chat with Captain Universe, and crash.

One minute.

🙃

#1. I’m grateful that the day filled out a decent amount for David. I think it ended up being full day for him, so that was good. 4 jobs, though I basically did half of the last one for him, but I’ll pay him full for it.

#2. I’m grateful that the Nissan Pathfinder computer job finally fixed the issue. That’s the first time, I think, that what I thought was a computer issue finally actually was a computer issue. He ordered a new one, I put it in today (Never buy a Nissan. Ever. Ever. Ever. They might be decently reliable, but my goodness, their engineers should be required to fix the cars they design. Ugh.

#3. I’m grateful for seasonings and condiments. Sauerkraut in my chili with jalepenos tonight. Super good. 🙂 It’s fun to experiment. Most things actually taste pretty good.

#4. I’m grateful that I was able to eat the pineapples before they spoiled. I bought six when we already had two. I’ve eaten one and a third today. 🙃

#5. I’m grateful to have a greater determination to bust up my porn addiction. I’ve been really motivated today. I’m working on doing whatever it takes.

Estrogen tablets.

Just kidding. Not gonna grow boobs to stop my porn addiction. But I’m gonna bust (that’s for you, Brittani) my butt to do every reasonable thing I can come up with to beat this once and for all.

#6. I’m grateful the Nissan guy was super stoked about getting his Pathfinder fixed. He was super happy. I think he wanted to hug me. I’m glad to have that one done and gone now, too. That one isn’t the same as the motorhome and the Land Rover, but it was one that’s been waiting in the wings for a while.

#7. I’m grateful that David wants to work tomorrow. We’ve got a full day with just one job that he is going to do. That’ll be nice for me.

I made the decision to get up at 4:55 no matter how late I get to bed. I’ve been off my mornings for a long time now, weeks and weeks. It ends tomorrow. Discipline. My morning routine is more important than my sleep. As I discipline my morning, perhaps I’ll be able to discipline my evenings better as well.

And take naps, if I can’t at first.

Loves and hugs, my lovelies. 😊
