Hi, folks. π
8:30. Are you proud of me? π
I was up late having an important conversation with a friend, so I slept in today quite a bit. The cool thing is that I managed to do most of my routine anyway, even with the pressures of the day pounding away at me. I studied. I played a little lumberjack in the woods, working on the trails for the first time in… weeks. I did most of my 5x5s. I got some important to-do list items worked on.
I… did pretty well. π
Then, I left for work and could have loaded myself down with a million jobs, but just did two quick ones. When I got home, I veged for only a little bit and then did some uplifting things, and then disciplined myself to work on taxes.
I chose to do something that was very hard for me to do but was good and right, and I’m grateful. I feel my heart continuing to soften.
Love. That’s the heart I want. That’s the heart for which I will give up all things, if necessary.
#1. I’m grateful to feel the little-by-little changes in my heart toward a more loving, compassionate, selfless heart.
#2. I’m grateful to feel less pressure to say yes to everyone. I’ve been good today, saying no to multiple jobs that were potential rabbit holes for me personally.
#3. I’m grateful for the urgency I feel in letting go of the things I let hold me back. It’s been increasing significantly lately, I think? I’m grateful.
#4. I’m grateful for mom for making food again and again and again.
#5. I’m grateful to those who help me when I reach out to them in need. It’s a blessing to have people to assist me through my challenges.
#6. I’m grateful to be 30 days clean. Not often that 30 days spans three months, but… 31st to the 1st with a February between.

Daily Accountability Summary:
Morning Routine Unweighted Success %: 60
Evening Routine Unweighted Success %: 77
Pornography/Sex Addiction Battle: 30 days
To-Do Top 3 Prioritization: 25% (I did the most important things today, but I didn’t even look at my top three to-do list things that aren’t related to my morning or evening routines. So… and I didn’t get a full hour in working on my taxes, so I’ll call it 25% today. It’s something, but definitely improvement needed.
Overall, the numbers don’t reflect my personal internal growth today, which is what is most important to me, but I’m still gonna keep track of the numbers because it’s helpful to me for staying focused and getting on track.
Good night, my wonderfuls.
