2021-03-25 — Distracted

Well, I’m a lot later than I was hoping because WordPress, apparently, keeps decreasing functionality, and now copy and paste doesn’t work anymore on their pages. It’ll say it’s copied, but it won’t paste anything, and it’s got a mind of it’s own trying to highlight as well. It’s… fabulous… for practicing patience. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

I reported the copy/paste issue, and they could replicate some of the problem, so hopefully, they’ll get on that. Not sure if they’ve replicated the highlighting issue yet. We’ll see.

Anyway, on to the day!

Didn’t get up like I said I would. I thought I could do it, but somehow… nope. Was staring down the barrel of three hours of sleep, and I just… couldn’t.

That said, when I did get up, I made it a good day, so that was good.

It was a wonderful stormy day, periods of really heavy rain, the kind I enjoy quite a bit. That was cool.

Had a great conversation with a friend for a good chunk of the day. I made some choices that were good growing choices. And that’s… good. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m… growing. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m starting to get a handle on prayer… again. ๐Ÿ™ƒ It’s funny to be 39 years old and to realize that I’ve spent my whole life and haven’t understood it. It’s so… eye opening and… well… it’s pretty cool.

I love learning, especially when the learning opens things up so much.

Sorry this post is disjointed. It’s late. I’m chatting with tech support. I just talked to a guy about a dump truck. I’m… all over the place, so I know this isn’t gonna be very coherent.

The below made me smile. I know I work hard, but I identify with this quite well:

Thought of the Day: “Progress isn’t made by early risers. It’s made by lazy men trying to find easier ways to do something.โ€ โ€•ย Robert Heinlein
