2021-04-16 — Garage Day

I keep thinking it’s allergies, and then it turns out to be a cold/virus of some kind. I always forget that lately (at least since moving to Arkansas?), my colds start out feeling like an allergy attack. For the future, if I forget again, remind me that when I sneeze like 5 times in a row, violently and uncontrollably, it’s not allergies, that’s the sure sign it’s a cold that’s coming on quickly.

Hopefully, it’s not too late to do my patented artificial fever treatment, though I’m already tired and don’t really want to go to all the preparation that it takes… It’s pretty much two full days into being sick, so it might be too late at this point anyway. We’ll see.

Anyway, I’d actually rather it be sick than allergies. Sickness… that’ll go away relatively quickly… hopefully. Allergies? Nope.

As far as the day goes, I didn’t push it too hard today. I started later. I only did 2.25 jobs. 4.5 total billable hours. So… that was good. It’ll be a busy day tomorrow. I’ll be working on the front porch/deck at Liz’s place tomorrow morning to get ready for Chrysti coming next week. Then a very very very full day of work. We’ll see how it all goes. Fuel pump, noise diagnosis, alternator, etc. Lots of stuff. Hopefully, the rain stops. It was supposed to stop. Cross your fingers. I did garage jobs only today with the weather the way it was.

It’s late. I did get some important things knocked off my to-do list, but that’s what’s kept me up (almost 11:30). Nice to get them done though. Been hanging over my head. I forgot to turn in sales tax stuff for February, and I’m a month overdue on that, but I got those turned in and the March submission done and turned in as well.

#1. I’m grateful I’m sick and not allergic.

#2. I’m grateful to be able to help tomorrow morning. I live here in this wonderful Haven Hill paradise at because of Chrysti’s generosity. So… least I can do is try to help a bit with everything that’s going on with her health right now.

#3. I’m grateful that the paper credit card statements came for my business credit card. Means I can get back to getting the income tax stuff done and taken care of.

#4. I’m grateful to have a working vehicle.

#5. I’m grateful for the beautiful bright green everywhere, and the dogwood blossoms (white) and the rose buds, the pink and red trees, it’s just beautiful right now. Beautiful spring.

Loves and hugs to all y’all.

Lift the World.
