Don’t worry, I won’t say that today was my half birthday, and I’m now closer to 40 than I am 39.
Why would I say that?
🙃
Today was a more positive, upbeat type of good day today, and I’m grateful. I slept in a bit, chose to do only two cars today (a no start that was just a battery job, and a no start that will need a fuel pump).
I got a few things done that I’ve wanted to get done, so that was nice, too. Not much to say, so I’ll just dive into this:
#1. I’m grateful the jobs we easy today.
#2. I’m grateful I’m getting better at reducing my jobs workload (saying no to jobs that would either make for long days or increase the stress load because of the job type, or both.
#3. I’m grateful I found the key to my busted Ford van. I was concerned, but i did find it. Hopefully, the title will come, so I can get rid of it soon.
#4. I’m grateful I was able to file the mini ex spare key in such a way as to make it work. The key making company couldn’t figure it out (they were trying to make spare keys for me, but couldn’t get them right), so I gave it a shot and figured it out (I ruined one non-functioning spare key in the effort but succeeded with the other. So at least I have one spare key for it. I’m gonna buy some blanks, I think, and make another one.
#5. I’m grateful that not many tools fell out of the back of my van when I forgot to close the rear doors driving up the road to my mini ex.
#6. I’m grateful I was able to get the trailer lights all wired up, so now I don’t need those portable ones that don’t stay on.
#7. I’m grateful I’m in bed a little earlier.
#8. I’m grateful I’m pulling out of the darkness.
#9. I’m grateful I was able to get the leaking hydraulic hose off the tractor. It was a beast, but I finally got it.
#10. I’m grateful for the gospel conversations I had with my friend Brittani last night and today. Good stuff. Talking about fear, and sources of it.
Well, time for bed. G’night, folks! Love to you all. 🙂
Lift the World.
