I was able to get out and work today. So… that’s something.
Did… four cars today? AC charge and dye injection (in an effort to find a leak in the AC system). Funny, turned out to be a young couple from our branch. Then it was to a 2011 Honda Pilot that they said needed an alternator, but it didn’t. Needed a couple of sensors. Then to a Dodge whatever it was that wouldn’t start. The issue? Too much paint on the battery cable ends keeping the power and ground from getting where they needed to go. Last one, new radiator and a refill of the transmission, the continuation of a job from last week for an ’04 Neon.
I guess I did 6 cars… while I was finishing up the last one, two different people asked for my quick help, so I diagnosed two different cars really quickly, didn’t charge, and headed home.
I’m all set for a monstrously busy day tomorrow. Would break all sorts of records personally if I actually accomplished it. So.. probably not very likely. 🙃 Also trying to get the financial stuff together for my accountant. Wish I had a bookkeeper… or an assistant to go around with me all day. That would be so stinking helpful.
Wish I still had Chase as an employee, but he’s making gobs of money in Alaska, so… yeah.
Still trying to tear myself away from the Poldark show. Blasted me didn’t like leaving shows halfway through. I wants the closure ye see, the finished story.
But, all the better… takes more strength to cut out and let go in the middle, and growth is still what I wants, so… I be workin’ to tear meself away then.
Been trying to find up with names for my nonprofit again. So hard to find something I like.
Cross your fingers I’ll get all the bookkeeping stuff taken care of by Wednesday morning.

I’m grateful that I haven’t been fully over the edge since I started taking migraine meds here and there.
I think they be helpin’.
So much to figure out with my business to get it all tied up to try to sell.

Great progress, I’d say. And with Poldark, does it take more willpower to stop completely than to simply say ” I will watch one episode today” and stick to that? I would argue that the binge/ starve cycle is problematic. Moderation in all things, the Middle Way, these tend to bring more lasting happiness. Big hugs!
