Got a late start today, but it was a decent day.
Only did 4 cars, which seems rather pedestrian given the craziness of late, but that was nice, actually.
I was grateful to knock out two jobs that have been lingering for quite a while. Finally got that jeep done, and I was grateful that the repair worked (new injector), that my diagnosis was correct. So much work went into that one, and I made only a pittance on it.
But it’s done, and it was a positive experience chatting with that crazy mature 18-year-old young man again about life and religion and politics and whatnot. Reminded me of my teaching days.
Cool experience.
Also finally got that super old Town Car out of my hair. Wahoo. 🙂
Aside from those two, I had a no start diagnosis on a Dodge Avenger (corroded connections), and a no start on a 2003 Audi A4 (found a dead short in one of the ignition coils that was blowing a main fuse).
Grateful for the Identifix program I use for helping to figure that Audi issue out. It very well could have taken hours for me to figure that one out, but because of the program I use, I found the answer within a few minutes because other mechanics had posted about that particular issue.
Oh, the Avenger lady gave me a pallet jack. 🙃
I felt a little more positive today. My Hill brother also offered to do what he could to help lift my spirits given how much I’ve been struggling lately. That was nice of him.
Hope y’all are well.
