Dare I say I chose a slow day today?
I could have gone to several more cars than I did, but today I just… took it slow and didn’t push. I only did three cars–a no start diagnosis of a 2000 Infiniti QX4 (bad fuel pump), finished the wiring repair job on the ’03 Audi that had a dead short in one of the coils, and I did a pre-purchase inspection on a 2016 Toyota Tundra.
Almost funny to do an inspection on a 2016 Toyota. It’s a Toyota. And a 2016 one at that. But still… it’s smart to do.
And… that was it. I started late, ended early, came home, and spent… hours working on tax stuff, trying to get 2021 buttoned up, at least the first half of the year, so I’m set for when taxes are due instead of scrambling last minute like I’m still dealing with for 2019 and 2020. 🙃
The joys of owning my own business. So. Much. Work.
But I wouldn’t change it. Grateful to be able to do my own thing.
Anyway, that’s the day. Not much more to say. I’m still struggling with the all the same stuff. It’s still hitting hard, very hard. And it’s becoming more and more the thing I can’t avoid, even by working too much.
I’d like to say I’m making progress, but it doesn’t feel like I am really.
Hopefully, I can change that. I’m trying.
G’night all. Lift the World. It needs it.
