Hiya, folks.
I’m about to crash. Exhausted. Up early to be able to drive away before the roads got impassable from the workers. They were kind enough to move out of my way going down the driveway. I sort of tore out of the house this morning without eating or really thinking–just moving and driving away.
Uh… what did I do today… ummm…
I don’t remember much. I’m so tired my brain isn’t working almost at all.
I stopped off at AutoZone to try to figure some tax things out, but their records are worse than mine, and they have no record of the labor claims they’ve paid out (the Rogers store, that is). After that, I went… where did I go? Oh yeah, Pinnacle Hills mall. No start. Turned out to be a loose battery cable. Second job was… um… Good gravy, I can’t think right now. Oh yeah! Emergency visit to Blowing Springs park for a van that shredded a belt. Turned out to be a bad AC compressor, but she needed to go to the fairgrounds, so I put another belt on, and we crossed our fingers that it would at least get her there.
It did (I believe).
Funny, tomorrow will be the second time in less than a week that I’ll do an AC bypass pully at the Benton County fairgrounds.

Third job was a Trailblazer that wouldn’t shift into gear. Had a busted shift cable bushing, so I replaced that, and he was on his way. Then I went to the dealer to pick up the wheel cylinders for the drum/shoe job on the Grand Caravan.
I was already so exhausted and totally wishing it would rain or something so I wouldn’t have to do the job, but… that didn’t work. I called my friend Cory, and he was kind enough to stay on the phone with me for a good while, so I could have the courage to face doing the job and to get it done.
Gratefully (I hope), I was able to finish that nightmare brake job. Then it was home to a four-course dinner (as all I’d eaten all day was apples and peanut butter (quite good, honestly). Pancakes, stir fryish stuff, granola, and then peanut butter granola.
Yum.
Since then, I’ve been spending the last 3 or 4 hours working on taxes. it’s almost 2:30 a.m. I’m… hammered.
Good night, folks.
