2021-11-15 — Receding Waters

Hola, peeps! Happy Monday! 😊

It’s been a day that didn’t go anything as planned. The morning was nice, as first thing, there was a resumption of the harder of the two difficult conversations from yesterday, and it was positive, and that was cool. Then later, there was a resumption of the other difficult conversation from yesterday, and that one was really positive. So that was really nice. It went from really rough last night with heavy feelings both last night and this morning, to the heaviness mostly lifting.

Grateful.

I also didn’t get any cars fixed today. It was a slow day already (by choice), as I’d scheduled cars for other days, but the jobs I had didn’t really go either. 🙃

So I actually relaxed a little bit (not much 🙃). I worked on taxes a bit (after not getting much of anything of my morning routine done at all with the heaviness and struggle I was feeling this morning from last night’s conversations). I’m getting so close with 2019. So close. Cross your fingers for me that I can get it all to my accountant in the next few days. I think that might be possible (for 2019). Then it’ll be on to 2020.

Chugging along.

I didn’t get really anything done on my nonprofit or with my countdown to no fear. At least not on the rolling back of fears, but I felt like I made progress in actually overcoming fear today, and that was probably just as important.

We’ll call it a near wash for my dailies. I did some 5x5s. I did go for a longer run this morning than I did on Saturday. I was up at 4–earlier again, actually. I ate breakfast, meditated for a bit. So I guess it wasn’t a wash after all, but I did miss some things, the big ones.

But I found a welder to come out to look at the dozer. That was good. I’d really like to make progress on that. Life is changing rapidly, and I’ve got so many loose ends here to tie up before I head to… wherever it is that I’m going. 🙃

8:28. Time for bed.

I fear nothing. I am indomitable.
