Hi, folks,
Started off rough today, really rough, but I’m getting back on track, gratefully. I’m not gonna stay down, not a chance. As one new friend mentioned to me today, stay focused on the goal, not so much on the present circumstance.
That’s what I’m gonna keep focusing on–where I’m going. Eyes on the Horizon.
I’m late for bed, so I’m gonna be brief.
- I’m grateful that I was able to get the really really big job done today in a decent amount of time, without swearing, even though it kicked my butt at times. I stayed steady. I stayed solid. I figured it out, and I got it done. 🥳 Progress. First job was a battery job, and it went just fine, then the biggie that was 5 billable hours in and of itself, then a no start that turned out to have fuel just dumping into the engine, so much that the exhaust pipe literally filled up with gas and was dripping in three different places! And lastly was a no start on a Toyota that needed a starter, so I put that in for him. Good, solid day.
- I’m grateful that I as able to get back up today when this morning I was feeling super super low.
- I’m grateful for people who can look past the ugliness and see the beauty and what can be.
- I’m grateful for my new friend and the interest taken in lifting me.
- I’m grateful that I was able to have a super-solid work day today. 4 cars, 8+ billable hours. That was nice.
- I’m grateful that I was able to help my last customer over the phone so that i didn’t have to go out. I lost $100 by telling him what to do over the phone, but I was already late getting home, and I’m trying to get myself on that solid schedule, a life in balance. $100 on an easy job is still not worth getting thrown out of balance. I’ve lived life out of balance far too many times throughout my life.
That’s all I’m gonna write for today.
Off to bed.
Love and hugs to all. Thanks, for your love and support.
Bring it on. Indomitable.
