Well, I think I can officially say that I’ve fallen off the wagon. It’s 11:23, and I’m getting to bed later and later as I’m trying to meet deadlines for various things that are all coming to a head at once.
Worked hard on taxes this morning, made really good progress plowing through 2020 data. Lots more to do still, as seemingly always, but good progress.
Still feeling unwell… nearly two weeks now of being over the edge as the norm despite doing a pretty darn good job taking care of myself. No rhyme nor reason.
Only did one car today. Could have done more, but I wasn’t feeling well, so I just did a quick battery job, went over to another, but decided not to do that one and had a good excuse because it wasn’t really best for me to do the job at that point.
Spent a long time taking the dozer apart in preparation for the welder to come by tomorrow. I found myself getting rather angry at the man who sold me the lemon that’s been sitting here for nearly a year. I should have done a better job in looking over the piece of equipment when I bought it, but man…
Anyway, had lots of angry feelings to deal with as I’ve spent so much time and now about to be a whole bunch more money to try to salvage that huge mistake. And what we’re doing is a gamble, so… no clue what’s gonna happen still.
Spent a good little while working on the phonetic stuff to get the resources and whatnot that my developer needs to keep working on the project. I need to get him a beta dictionary by tomorrow, split out into 26 subsheets (one for each Legacy English letter) in the worksheet.
Cross your fingers that it will go well. So much to think about and figure out! 10 years of on-again-off-again work all trying to come to some workable form all of the sudden. I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into with this Freelancer.com thing. I’m not unhappy with it at all. I just didn’t anticipate it all happening so quickly, so it’s one huge thing added to the mix of all the other things I’m trying to do.
Anyway, it’s good stuff. Progress is being made all over, so no complaints.
