Happy… Friday? I think? Man… I’m losing track of the days.
Anyway, I went to bed last night to semi greenish grass and woke up to a blanket of snow just barely deep enough to cover all but the tallest weeds, so that was nice. 😊 I’m guessing that’ll be the last snow of the year. Warms up to 60s and 70s next week, and though Arkansas’ weather is rather unpredictable and fluctuates more than anywhere I’ve ever lived (that I can remember, anyway), I don’t remember having any late-season snow storms. Late season freezes, sure, but we don’t get snow that often, so having the moisture coincide with the freezes is fairly rare after early spring, I think.
Who knows. My memory… has struggled a lot since probably my early 30s. I certainly feel a lot dumber than I used to be. I used to have a quick mind, but the memory has fled for lots of things (other things I remember really well… it’s weird), and my ability think abstractly has seemingly all but completely vanished. Pretty discouraging at times, remembering that my brain used to fire on all cylinders and I could run circles around abstract ideas.
Not anymore.
Oh well.

Anyway, so I didn’t work today, as planned. Well, I mean I didn’t fix cars today. I work pretty much all the time, just different work. Today was the day I was supposed to not let my head hit the pillow without having first gotten the past sales tax stuff for the last three years all submitted. Well… It’d probably be around the time the sun comes up if I stick to that. The number crunching and organizing and whatnot has gone rather slowly today, but still, decent progress, as usual.
I got all my personal Arkansas use taxes (online purchases I wasn’t properly charged taxes for and local purchases I bought as with my tax-exempt account that shouldn’t have been tax exempt.). The numbers are all crunched and ready. I just need to fill out the submission forms and submit them.
I also got all of 2019 business use tax numbers re-figured, so I just need to re-submit those, re-figure 2020 and 2021 and submit those, and then get January and February of 2022 redone/done, respectively.

Depending on the weather, perhaps I’ll get that done tomorrow (not supposed to snow, but it’s going to be bitter cold tonight). If the weather is good, I’ve got cars I’m supposed to fix. I’m hoping it’s not good. 🙃 It’s not supposed to snow again, just be really cold, so we might be snowed in.
Gee darn.
If that happens, I have a good shot at getting all the sales tax redo stuff done tomorrow.
Grateful today again for my mom. She’s helping me gather the information that I need to get my business stuff wrapped up. She spent a decent little while on the phone with various government agencies in Arkansas and Missouri–doing stuff I should have done years ago. I sort of did it once upon a time but never finished getting all the info, thus… I never did what needed to be done.
But… wanna make sure before I sell/shut down it’s all cleaned up and shiny.
Can’t remember what all I did today. I’ve been sitting in my recliner pretty much all day working stuff. Feels like I should have gotten more done, but… oh well. Oh! Yeah, I tried to communicate with like 60 previous customers about small overcharges. So that took a long time. I also communicated with another… many following up about their experience with the work I did for them.
Anyway, it’s almost 1:30 a.m. Need to get my rear in bed, so I can get up and… do it all again. 🙃
