We are gonna get this stuff done. At some point, it’ll all be in the past. We don’t give up. We don’t quit. We got ourselves into it. We get ourselves out of it. We finish. That’s just… what we do.

In other news, my buddy John uploaded one of the videos he took of me cliff jumping off that highest cliff I’ve jumped off. It wasn’t spectacularly high… wasn’t amazing, but I’m pretty sure it’s the highest cliff I’ve personally jumped off. With stop watch app in hand, the most common time I came up with from leap to splash was 1.59 seconds. So that means the cliff was about 40 feet tall, and that puts me at about 35 mph when hitting the water.
I think I was pretty scared, but… gotta conquer the fears, right? I’d love to go back there. Costa Rica has to be among the best trips I’ve been on. John’s been my adventure buddy for some of my best adventures in my life. Miss that guy.
Nose back to the grindstone tomorrow. Gonna keep pushing. I’m dragging. It’s hard to stay going, stay fighting through all this, but… and I’m repeating myself.
