2022-04-02 — Did I Mention I Was Tired?

Hi, folks. 🙂

I’m pretty lonely today. Don’t remember if I already mentioned that, as per the norm, the woman I messaged on Match.com didn’t reply.

They never do. 😕

Still… I’m not giving up. I’m gonna keep trying. But it’s pretty clear to me that online doesn’t work for me. Clearly, I’m not attractive enough. And that’s fine. Just trying to figure out where to go and what to do.

Really tired. Catching up on sleep but still tired.

5 cars today. I think. First one was a Toyota Corolla with an acceleration issue. That one just had a bad coil. Next car was an Audi TT that wouldn’t start (battery was drained down because of a parasitic draw). Third car was a 2012 Ram 1500 with a bad alternator. When I got done with the job, I realized that the alternator was getting really hot. Upon doing a little testing, I found that the alternator ground wasn’t great. In fact, there was huge resistance, but it was random. I ended up adding an additional ground cable directly from the alternator to the battery negative post. Hopefully, that’ll be solid. Fourth car was a 2021 Ford Transit that wouldn’t start. I found water inside the main computer. 😬 Fortunately, it’s under warranty, so the Ford dealer should tow and fix it for free. Last car was a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse that was in limp mode, supposedly. I found lots of nasty oil in the intake hose and throttle area. Apparently, it’s PCV valve is bad, so it’s sucking oil, and the exhaust is smoking badly. I cleaned out the intake and the throttle, and I tried to do a little carbon clean on the engine by introducing water into the intake (spray bottle). Seemed to do well after I did all that. No more check engine codes. Cross your fingers.

Love and hugs.

  1. Loneliness is painfull. I assure you…you are very attractive. The stars are probably keeping you available till the right one crosses your path.

  2. Stephen! You are *really* good looking! You are dashing and charismatic with a big heart. I am going with Blogreader’s theory. I know how hard loneliness is. May you find your way to someone who loves all your strengths and can support you and love you anyway in all your flaws. May you find a true balm for your loneliness in the mean time. Love to you, brother… So much…
