Hiyah, folks!
Woke up this morning to… nothing. No calls. No messages. 🤔
No reception on the phone. Over the course of the morning, I had one call come in that dropped before I could talk to them. I ended up leaving the property to get reception, where I called T-Mobile, and they switched us to another nearby tower, as the tower we were receiving our reception from is being converted to 5G.
That solved it, but I ended up with a dead day (which i wasn’t unhappy about, honestly). I spent a couple of hours cleaning out and organizing my van at AutoZone. The shelving has been bending out of shape and moving all over the van and finally broke yesterday, so I pulled it out, bent it all back in shape, bolted it together better than it was before, and now we’re good.
I cleaned out one fluid bin that was full of tranny fluid in the bottom, and I cleaned out a tool bin that was full of coolant in the bottom.
Anyway, that was pretty much it for the work day. No cars. The rest of the day was spent on the property with the lawn mower. I mowed the part of the lawn that was super high from not having done it last week with the rest of the lawn. Then I burned the two vine piles. Then I mowed a trail zig zagging down the hill under the power lines to the mail box. I mowed the grass around the mailboxes to make it look… somewhat nice.
And that… was the day.
It’s time for bed. Almost 1.
