Well, my trip back to work was a grand total of one car. Battery change at a hotel in Springdale for a 2018 GMC Acadia. Relatively straightforward, and she tipped me. That was nice. Then I went to the urgent care to get my body checked out. Think it was a waste. They ordered x-rays, but they didn’t x-ray the right parts of me properly (at least, I don’t think so). Hurt chest in the front, so they take an x-ray from my back. And then they take an x-ray from looking through my right shoulder, when the issue is with the front and the left.
Then with my wrist, they x-ray the the top but the side angle they choose to do through all the other fingers instead of the straight on side view? Ummm… how are you gonna see the bones in question when they’re being blocked by several other bones?
I thought about saying something, but I figured the doctor would catch it when she looked at the x-rays. Nope. She just said no breaks or any other issues.
I didn’t have the courage to challenge the x-rays they took. I’ve had doctors get offended when I question them in the past. Didn’t want to upset the doctor or the x-ray tech. But… after talking to my mom, I think I will tomorrow. I mean c’mon. How do you get a good view of the front ribs through the back ribs? Or a good view of the left by going through the right shoulder and all the ribs on the right to view the left? I mean really.
Anyway, we’ll see how it all goes.
No real improvement in my wrist/hand or chest.
