2022-06-27 — Unexpected Compliment

Took it relatively easy again today, just two cars–radiator on a 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX and a noise inspection on an early 2000s BMW, I believe it was (had been in a wreck she wasn’t aware of, and the damaged fender liner finally broke apart).

Jobs went just fine. No real issues. That was nice. 🙂

Got a pretty huge indirect compliment from my first customer. He considers himself a leftist politically, and yet, after talking politics for a good little while as I fixed his car, each of us sharing some of our views and hopes for the future, and even with him knowing my personal values and politics, he told me I should run for office.🙃

That was pretty cool.

Maybe I can bring people together like I hope to. 😊 I hope so.

In other news, I believe I’ll be having my first meeting with some professionals in related fields about my phonetic alphabet work. The one who’s on one of the state boards is gonna try and get a few people who aren’t currently on vacation to participate.

Cross your fingers.

And prayers/positive universe vibes/whatever you feel to do for my friend Robyn, please. A very wealthy man who put up some of the money to get her business going is now trying to lock her out of her own business, leaving her with nothing.

That’s not the first time she’s had people turn on her and lock her out of her company so they can take it over and have all the money.

Pretty crappy.

Anyway, hope we can inspire peace and love in the world.

Speaking of which, love to all of you. 😊
