Holar, folks! Gratefully, in addition to being a short work day, it was pretty easy. First car was a Honda with a radiator fan that wasn’t turning on–turned out to be a bad fan. The replacement was pretty easy and went quickly. Second car was another Honda that needed an alternator. Easy peasy. Great conversation with the alternator guy. He’s a Green Party supporter, and we had another great conversation about life and government and the future. Again encouraging about being able to communicate with people and bring people together of differing views.
Last job as a 2018 GMC Yukon no start. They’d blown one of the main battery fuses by connecting the cables backwards.
That was it.
Headed home to be back by 3 for my meeting about Modern English.
Meeting seemed to go well. Crossing my fingers I can get good feedback that will take this all in a good direction. Part of me is… worried? Worried that someone will steal what I’ve worked on.
After that, I spent a good while helping my mom in the garden, putting in a few dozen paver stones to go under the patio swing instead of the boards that were under them.
I’m a bit distracted while I’m writing this. And I’m tired.
