I took it a little easier today–just two cars. Malaki was home feeling pretty rotten.
First car as was one that was supposed to be a crank, no start, but it started just fine when I got there. So I gave him some suggestions for how to proceed and be ready. He didn’t have a working credit card, so I ended up getting paid in a little cash and a large Walmart gift card.
Then… a couple hours later, he had the same problem, but I was working on another car, so he just towed it to the dealer.
Second car was a 2009 Acura TSX that wouldn’t start. Turned out to be a starter, a job I’ve done many times before (though always on Accords, but it’s the same engine).
I got home at like… 4? I don’t remember for sure. I spent the rest of the day helping my Hill Sister Liz. I got the golf cart running again, diagnosed what was wrong with a riding lawnmower, and I fixed three drawers with broken rails and other things–two drawers in the kitchen and one in the game room.
I ate a little dinner with them and chatted for a good, long while with Mike and Rhett.
Good stuff. Home now. After midnight. Time for bed.
Love and hugs.
