Haven’t been sick in a long long time. Guess I was due.
Walked into Harbor Freight, and within a few minutes I was sneezing up a storm. Seemed like a perfect case of allergies, like some weird thing in the store. As soon as I left the store, I was fine.
But then… a few hours later, I started sneezing again. Then my throat started getting sore, and now here I am.
Ugh.
Grateful that I haven’t been sick in a while.
Four cars today. Didn’t do much of it myself, but it was a mess of logistics, so I worked all day without actually fixing cars. Need to get Malaki all the tools he needs. That’s what’s causing the logistical issues. Don’t want to have him stuck with me making less money when he’s capable of being on his own, but nor can I follow him around to be there when he needs tools. I can guide him through stuff over the phone for troubleshooting and repair help, but tools? Not so much.
So… that’s problematic trying to figure out how to plan the days.
Almost 1 a.m. Thought i was going to be in bed a long time ago. Guess not. Spent longer than I should have going through my Modern English dictionary.
Four cars… finishing up the Honda Odyssey from Saturday. Helping with a 2000 F150 that had a bunch of problems. Then a 2010 Sentra that needed an alternator. And then I went to that Pathfinder we did on Saturday that had a lot of issues.
Looks like the guy who sold it to him sold it with a bad head gasket. Given the massive lack of power when trying to push the engine at higher RPMs, the p0300 code, the coolant hoses that are flimsy because of contact with oil… the sealant in the cooling system… it all… adds up.
Poor guy.
On a brighter note, we had a super powerful, super cool storm, though it was one that caused some damage–either a micro burst or a tornado or something. And flooding. Was pretty nutty.
Must go to bed. Hoping not to wake up too sick.
