I supposed I’d better write something. 🙃 Feels like it’s been a while…
I’m really tired. Brain stopped working a good while earlier tonight. So not much useful will come out here now.
Time just keeps rolling. There’s so much going on. At the same time there’s almost nothing going on.
And… I’m… losing my desire to write.
A few thoughts…
- Walking in bare feet over recently shredded overgrown vegetation in Arkansas is… not smart. I have added a new first to the experiences of my life. I’ve got poison ivy blisters on my feet–on the top, between toes, even on the sole…
- When you have poison ivy blisters on the bottoms of your feet, just… leave them alone. I… cut mine off, and the open sores will likely take longer to heal than the poison ivy by itself would have.
- Bidets are fabulous. I’ve only ever had the handheld kind, but it’s soooo much nicer than smearing poop around until it’s mostly gone off your bottom end. I mean… can you imagine taking a crap in your hand and just wiping your hands off with paper towels and calling it good? Guess it’s the 40-year-old virgin in me, but nether regions are pretty nasty, honestly. Do you just forget about all that and ignore it when you’re steaming up the windows? Love my bidet, thank you very much.
- Transmission is going out on my van. Can’t have overdrive on, or it’ll just rev up and not shift. Guess it’s a common problem with my particular transmission option. Didn’t know.
Other occurrences…
- Been buying equipment for the tree service business arm that I’m getting started. Bought a regular small-limb saw, some wedges, and some rope/harness stuff. Both of my neighbors, after hearing I was starting that arm of the business said they have work they want us to do, so that’s cool. My nephew and I are on the same page as well about how to run the business, so that’s cool–create a place where employees want to work. Pay them well. Treat them well. Show them they’re valued. Sacrifice greater personal income in order to provide a good, well paying job that’s a desirable destination for those interested in tree work for a living.
- A nephew of mine is going to be moving in for a month or two and likely staying in my room with me. Good stuff.
Really tired. Lonely. But ok.
