Another far too late night, and another early morning. It’s been a long day, and I’m exhausted.
I don’t remember if I mentioned it in my other post, but I ended up working for the tree service business today because they didn’t finish the job yesterday. Since they didn’t finish the job yesterday, that meant that I had to rent the lift for another day, and already losing money on the job, I didn’t want to spend more money paying for the additional help when Malachi had all of the car stuff taken care of because things are crazy slow right now.
My car business has never been this slow except in the very very beginning when I was barely getting it started. My marketer is MIA. And that’s a bit of a mess instead of being simple.
Anyway, so I, stupidly, decided to do the tree service work, yet again for getting that my body is broken. 20 minutes into the work, I realized how stupid it was for me to try and do tree service work with my hips knees and ankles all still so bad, but the helper hurt himself working yesterday as well, so there was no other option anyway that I could think of on short notice.
So I got up about 7:00 or 7:20 or something like that after going to bed at like 2:00 I think. I started up the vehicles, scraped Frost off the windshield (the windshield on my work van cracked most of the rest of the way across from the change in temperature between the frosted windshield and the defroster going.
Then I drove into Rogers to get started on the job getting there 30 to 45 minutes ahead of my nephew. When I got there, I realized that they had put basically an entire trees worth of branches in a big pile, which was going to make it a big pain in the butt to load up, as I had to either use lots of energy to try and jerk random branches out of the pile, or I had to wander around does massive pile trying to find which ones were on top and easy to just pull off.
For any of you wondering, it’s a lot easier to load up branches when they’re not already in a pile. It is much better to have them strewn across the ground where you can just pick them up and throw them in instead of having to decipher which ones you can pull out and which ones you can’t, and spend inordinate amounts of energy trying to pull stuff out. π
Anyway, so I worked on tree stuff from the time I got there about 8:30 or so until the time I finished up about 7:00 p.m. my nephew had to leave about 5:00 because he had a prior thing set up with his friends, so I stayed to clean everything up at the end.
I didn’t eat breakfast. I left my water bottle in my van, and I didn’t drink anything the entire day or eat anything the entire day.
First, that’s not a great thing to do ever anyway not when you’re working your butt off and your body really needs the hydration and the nutrition. And second, it’s not a very good idea when you’re completely exhausted, quite hungry, a little overwhelmed, and a bit stressed to go grocery shopping. π
Let’s just say a number of items that ended up in my grocery cart are not in keeping with my food standards, and it’s definitely not healthy, and it’s probably not good for my stomach issues at all.
But I’m worn out physically, mentally, and whatever else ly. So, though it’s a bad excuse, that’s my excuse. π
My job today mostly consisted of hacking up brush and putting it in the trailer… Most of two large trees worth of branches.
Anyway, so yeah after cleaning all those up, raking the entire lawn twice to get branches off, I ended with sweeping the entire road in front of one and a half yards. That was really hard to do when I was already so utterly exhausted.
But hey, at least I’m done now, right? Well, kind of. As I’m writing this, I’m dumping the load and unloading the firewood, so I guess I’m not quite done yet.
…
Okay, now I’m done. π
And now I get to do December’s taxes because it’s the 20th, in today’s my deadline, and I haven’t done them yet. π
So I will probably flip on a movie or something, eat some food, and try and get my tax stuff done before midnight.
After I get all these groceries put away.
πΆ
I’m so tired. π₯±π₯±π₯±
So I’ll sign off for now, as I don’t want to stay up later after I do my other stuff just to say that I got it done. I’ll let you all know tomorrow. π
Love and hugs. π
