2023-05-15 — A Monday

Gosh, I just keep falling behind…

It’s the 18th as I write this. I think the 15th was a Monday. Yeah, Monday. I’ve continued trying to lighten things up because I’ve been close to the point of complete breakdown. I think it’s helping, but I have almost no ability to withstand any adversity whatsoever with cars.

I only did two cars on Monday. Monday morning felt like a Saturday after the end of a full week. I’m just so burned out. So emotionally and mentally exhausted.

The first was a 2007 Toyota sienna way out in the middle of nowhere in centerton. She was a customer who had used us last fall, and she had left her door open and drained her battery all the way down, so I went out and got her battery all charged back up.

I think she’s a lonely old lady because when I told her that I would be happy to help her set up her battery charger, so she wouldn’t have to pay for someone to come out If it happened again, she said she didn’t mind paying because it gave her somebody to talk to.

😕

That’s so sad.

I was in a super bad space at the time I think, otherwise I would have probably stayed to chat with her a while longer. I’ve just been in such a bad place lately…

I think there were other cars on the schedule that got either postponed or canceled. So I only ended up doing one more, a 2018 Chevy 1500 vet he had just driven from Texas back to Arkansas, and after parking it, he went to start it up again, and it wouldn’t start.

I went over and found that the last people to change the battery hadn’t tightened down one of the power cables, so I tightened it down, and that was that!

It started to rain about that time, And I headed home to the day. I honestly don’t have a clue what happened after that. It’s been a very very rough go these last several days.

Love to all.
