Ummm…

Oops!!! 😅

Let’s see, the first… I remember that I had grand plans for the day. If I remember correctly, I was going to finish sanding and coating and painting E.T. (my Extendo Twinkie work van). I also had like seven other things on the to-do list.

That morning, I remember mentioning to my mom what all I had on my to-do list, and she said that if I got all that done, that would be an amazing day.

Well, I didn’t even accomplish my first task. I spent nearly all day, and just didn’t get it done. It’s hard to remember at this point, because it’s been almost 2 weeks ago now (I’m dictating this entry on Wednesday the 13th of September trying to remember back), got everything seemed to go sideways, and everything I tried to do took a heck of a lot longer than I expected it to, and the result was a frustratingly unproductive day even though I spent the entire day trying to be productive.

Oh! I remember now. In an effort to try and reduce the painting work required, and the sanding and all that, I tried to swap doors from one van to the other. Unfortunately, though it just didn’t work out. I spent hours removing and trying to swap over, only to realize that It just wasn’t going to work. I think a couple of the doors worked? But one of them didn’t, and it was a big pain in the butt, and super frustrating.

And of course, when I started actually working again on the sanding and breast prevention stuff, that didn’t go so well either.

It’s funny… Every single time I try to do paint and body work, it always takes a gazillion times longer than what I hope for.

A gazillion.

And I’m not even trying to do a professional job. I’m just trying to get it to a point where it looks presentable from the curb. I’m planning on painting it with a roller. I’m just trying to stop all the rust first because when I sell it, I don’t want to just have all the rest have been covered up, and nobody knows where it is until it starts to rust through even worse. That’s not very cool to do to someone else, and I wouldn’t want anyone doing it to me, so I spend hours and hours standing off rust and then trying to seal the metal to be free from moisture and free of rust.

I bought this super expensive chemical to do the job, and I spent all day on it, but there’s still so much to do… And I’m concerned that the expensive chemical isn’t adhering like it’s supposed to. 😕

One of those days.

I think after spending pretty much the entire day and getting nowhere, I just vegged out for the rest of the night, overwhelmed, and stressed out.

Lift the world.
