It was so nice to be home today (writing about the 2nd the morning of the 4th).
I slept in until 7:00, I think, in time to have scripture study with my mom. I forced myself to not taken nap, so that I would be able to easily fall asleep and not have any issues with struggling to fall asleep because I got my body out of rhythm by taking a nap.
I spent some time down at Haven Hill Creek Park, working on things a little bit. I think that was where I just felt the room to breathe, as I looked across the lower pasture with nothing in it but grass on up the hill to Liz’s house.
It’s just so peaceful. So nice. It’s happifying. 😊
Yes, the cold, especially once the sun went down, was colder than Utah cold, and that isn’t so great, but I just had room to breathe, and that means so much. It’s such a boon to my psyche.
I spent probably a couple hours, maybe three, just chatting with Landon and Jim about life and stuff. Landon is getting ready to move back, and I was brainstorming ways of helping him make the trip more cost effectively.
We also wandered around the property talking about plans that Landon has, and plans that I would like to have for how to improve the property.
Barn stuff, pawn stuff, gazebo stuff, down by the deck and creek stuff, family chores, future habitations… All sorts of stuff.
Good stuff.
I smell like camp fire. 😁
Lift the world.
