Had a full work day today. It wasn’t the most productive, but it was a full day. I think it was like five and a half billable hours, or something like that.
Four cars.
The first car was a 2007 Toyota solara in Bentonville that wouldn’t start. If I’m remembering correctly, it was just a dead battery. I think I spent a long time charging his battery back up for him, so he could drive to the store and get another one, but I don’t remember for sure.
Car number two was a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado that had been on my list to take care of for quite a while. The customer had tried multiple times to change his own oil pressure sensor, but it had just not gone well.
Gratefully, for me, I think it was the simplest oil pressure sensor job that I’ve ever done. Even though I’ve done the job several times, for some reason, it just went much better this time.
Hallelujah! 🥳
Car number three was a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis that he wanted me to do front and rear brake pads on. Gratefully, for both him and for me, it only needed front brake pads. And gratefully again, that brake job went better than most go for me, so that was another win for the day.
Another hallelujah. 🥳
The last car of the day was a 2017 BMW X1 that just needed a battery. I had picked up a battery from BMW earlier, so I was able to just slap it in, reset the battery monitoring system, and call it good.
🥳
I spent some time answering questions for customers online as well, and I’m sure I wasted plenty of time on YouTube and whatnot and kept eating a bunch of crap. 😅
I’ve been slipping quite a bit in multiple areas, But my slipping has been better than my slipping in the past, so we’ll call that a win as well! 😆
Lift the world.
