(written on the 14th)
Today was a to-do list day. Tippy top on the list was taxes,
I started working on everything in the morning, and then, a little overwhelmed with everything, I swallowed my pride, made the smarter choice, stress-wise, and just asked last year’s accountant if she would be willing to file my extension and do my taxes again this year.
She responded in the affirmative, filed my extension immediately, which in and of itself was a big stress reliever, and unloaded a whole crap ton of stress, in general, as now I don’t have to figure out what to do with all the data, I just need to get all the data again.
And with the extension already filed, I have a heck a lot more time to get it done, so I’ve got a lot of breathing room.
🥳
With that out of the way, I was freed up to work on stuff on the home front, and one of the things that I was able to get done today was to get my old beat up trailer sold.
I took a bath on it, but it’s sold, at least. I sold it for about half what I had in it, but it needs a heck of a lot of work, so it’s probably just as well. I’m supposed to be reducing the number of projects that I have to do, and I’m supposed to be producing the number of things on my stress list, so getting rid of that gets one more thing off the list that’s been on there for a long time.
Progress. 🥳
I’m writing this on the 14th, and I don’t remember, but I did spend some time, and it would make sense that it might have been that day, running my mini excavator down by the creek, getting rid of the island in the creek that was the result of having to push all the dirt in the creek in the first place to make the ramp down there.
So that is mostly cleaned up. It doesn’t look the greatest yet, but the next good rainstorm that washes the creek a little bit should Take care of that.
You were super hard going to work on Monday. You only working 3 days a week, I’m just burned out. So burned out.
But I’m super blessed to have this table to make the money that I make. So… I’m not going to complain. I’m going to be grateful and I’m going to make plans to take care of the rest.
Onward
Lift the world.
