Another Saturday, another day on the hill. Today was the first family gardening day after Jim and I got the fences set up. Both on hill and offhill family came over to help lay out the weed cloth and arrange everything for planting.
I helped a little bit, but before that, I wanted to make progress on other stuff on the hill, so I decided to go chop down trees and use up my batteries so that they could be charging while I was helping at the garden.
So I went down and finished taking out the main trunk that was still probably 25 ft high of the really big sycamore that was by the greenhouse in the lower back pasture.
Once that was down, which turned out to be more challenging than I expected, I headed up to help at the family garden.
Progress.
I spent some time cleaning out the doggy van that I bought, getting all the trash and whatnot out of it.
I pulled the battery out of the Z4 to get it charged up. I worked on the big Twinkie van that’s been giving me issues. It died on the way back from trying to buy that chain link fence last Saturday, and as best I can tell, something is wrong either with the computer or with the connections to the computer… Or something like that. It just keeps dying without any explanation, other than that for a short period of time, there was a message on the dash saying no connection with the BUS.
If I get it started and then wiggle the wire connections at the computer, it shuts off. Coincidence? The actual problem? I don’t know. My other Dodge work van is starting to die randomly as well. 😕
Feels like everything is breaking.
I don’t remember what else I did. 😕
Lift the world.
