I woke up and started planning the day. Tried to figure out what was going on with my car insurance, As they canceled the insurance on one of my cars, and I thought we got that figured out a month ago. But I just got a message that I was getting a refund, which means It wasn’t resolved.
Ugh.
Did a handful of other online errands, like paying my credit card bills and all that jazz.
Being Friday, trash day, I took trash up to the dumpster instead of taking it to Walmart or wherever when I’m shopping. I don’t make that much trash. It’s mostly recyclable stuff.
Anyway, as I was there, I noticed that the dumpster was only a quarter of the way full or so, So I messaged Liz and Landon, and I started adding a bunch of trash that was lying around near the dumpster and asked if Liz could send one of her boys over to help.
So Rhett came over, and we talked about baseball and everything he’s doing with that while we cleaned up trash.
Talked with my mom about French bulldog stuff in an effort to try and help Liz get started with her breeding business.
Went to AutoZone to deal with some stuff that was there. They had given me too large of a refund yesterday, so I went back to get that straightened out, and I also I think dispose of some oil and what not.
Cleaned out my Honda Civic completely, all the way to vacuuming it out and what not.
Trying to get everything figured out so I know exactly what I have and where it’s all going to be staying.
Found the checks the insurance company sent me and got those deposited. Gathered up all my papers that were in the Civic, got them organized, put into a bin, and into my van, along with a bowl and lid to make it easier to eat things that go in bowls. ๐
I gave up and paid more health bills instead of waiting for my insurance company to take care of it. I was getting to the point where they were threatening collections, and it had been a long long long wait for them, and I didn’t want to have my credit damaged, so… I guess that’s a win for the insurance company, But now I’m not worrying about it.
I hate the healthcare industry.
I took The last of my stuff off the trailer and arranged it around ET In preparation for loading it all up in there and hopefully having it be organized.
My mom came by to help. It’s crazy that I’ve got this little teeny tiny 79-year-old woman helping me as if she were my age. I’d like to say that I wish my health were that good when I’m her age, but it’s already worse than hers, so… guess that’s Not really realistic. ๐
Maybe advances in medical technology…
Gave some stuff to my mom from the stuff I’d been cleaning and sorting out. Moved the trailer from down here at my staging area to up near where it’s supposed to go. I didn’t park it back exactly where it’s supposed to go because there were large dead limbs right where the trailer had been, so they’ve fallen down in the last few weeks since I’ve had that trailer.
It’s been parked underneath an absolutely massive, but dead, oak tree, and apparently it’s time for The bigger limbs to start falling off. ๐ฌ
After I got the trailer parked up by the Big Barn, my mom and I sorted and tossed and organized… for hours., and then we came back and sorted a little bit more. Sort, toss, organize. We managed to load a massive amount of stuff in the van. There’s still a lot more that needs to go in, but we got a lot in there. There was significant potential for rain, so we had to put stuff there, and gratefully, we were able to get the lids on everything before the dew soaked everything. I think it was only a few minutes after we got the the lids on all the bins that the dew point hit, and everything was wet.
My mom went out and got us food while I worked. It was the time of day where the sun was behind the trees, so it wasn’t as brutally hot, and I wanted to keep getting things done.
Thank you, Mama, for getting the food!ย
We ate in her car with the AC on, and then we sorted a little bit more.

It’s amazing how that happens here. So much water in the air.
Thank you, my dear wonderful mother, for all your help. You’re an angel. ๐
Amazingly, I didn’t melt down today. I average a full-on meltdown probably at least once a day.
But not today.
Miracle. ๐
Small victories.
