2024-09-29 (Sunday) — Hidden Tires

(written on the 9th & 13th)

I slept in today, which was nice. Ate some breakfast and chatted with my nephew for a good long time about the work he’s doing, the project he’s working on, and things he’s interested in. He’s got an app he built that helps people schedule on-site oil changes. He’s been working on it for years, and it looks like it’s heading in a positive direction.

Chatted with my sister for a good bit as well.

Good stuff. 🙂

I wish my blood family were closer–seven siblings, five states.

Not sure where I’m going, but I think it’s much more likely than not that I leave Arkansas. I think being a nomad is next… for a little bit at least.

I spent a pretty good amount of time reorganizing the van today. Having those tires has been a big pain in the butt. It’s nice to have them as insurance, but Boy is it annoying to have them in the aisle that we’re trying to walk back and forth on to get to Mom’s bed.

So I got everything out of the van, and I spent a whole crap ton of time trying to reorganize the van To make it so the tires weren’t in the way anymore.

After spending hours, I imagine, I finally managed to organize things in such a way that the aisle was free, the tires were now part of the support for my bed, and I’m crossing my fingers that it will be such that it won’t wrench my back while I sleep.

🤞

Ate dinner and worked on financial goal stuff.

(My notes aren’t as good as I hoped they were for today, so I don’t remember what we did for dinner, but I’m assuming that it was with Tish and Craig and family. Wish I had taken better notes. 😕)

Lift the world.
