Wasn’t doing so well, spine wise, when I woke up, but somehow, gratefully, I managed to find some motivation for making progress on things today.
I haven’t been doing so well lately, mental health-wise, so I wanted to take advantage of the positive change.
Accordingly, I spent all day moving stuff from my mom’s basement into Rover, organizing, thinning out, etc.
I answered just a few work questions as well, one of them being a pretty gnarly black hole that just went on and on and on for hours.
Ugh.
By the end of the day, though, I had nearly everything that I had put at my mom’s house before our trip back in Rover and somewhat decently organized. There’s still a lot more to figure out, but definitely good progress.
My mom made me dinner, which I was grateful for.
I also went to the Lowe’s in Bentonville, had some duplicate house keys made and bought a sheet of OSB to put on top of my double-layered, storage-bin bed, So the mattress doesn’t sag into the lower parts on the lids.
Hopefully that helps my spine.
🤞
Unfortunately, the big saw that they use inside Lowe’s to cut the wood for you to the dimensions you want was out of order, meaning I was going to have to do it myself.
Would have been really nice to have it cut for me, especially since I don’t want to be carrying and trying to move around a big OSB board, but… is what it is.
Stopped off at the recycling center to recycle stuff that’s been building up.
Stopped off at Haven Hill to get my Milwaukee skillsaw out of ET.
Stopped by the grocery store to buy some food.
Filled up my gas tank, grateful that it’s only $2.52 a gallon right now.
Getting the OSB sheet cut to the proper size ended up being a fairly involved process. I should have just driven over to the Lowe’s in Rogers and had them do it, but too late now.
So I went to Haven Hill to get the saw. Then took a while to unbury the tools I needed to put the skill saw blade on the skill saw so that I could use it.
Then I measured and cut after having taken the board back out of the van.
Fortunately, once it was cut, I could actually get it to fit in the van easier. Last time I had to go through the back, but this time I was able to go through the side.
Oddly enough, there’s something wrong with my rear door on the driver side that wasn’t a problem earlier today, but now it won’t open all the way.
🤔
With my mental health not doing so well, my patience was basically zero.
😞
On the bright side of things, I was able to do enough work this week to keep my pay grade.
Not much else to say. Trying to figure out where I’m going to live.
Life.
Lift the world.
