(written on the 27th)
I think I was the first one awake, which isn’t much of a surprise since I was the only one in the house, I think, who hadn’t been drinking the night before. π
I ate leftover cold Pizza for breakfast–a lot of it. π
I think I watched Castle a bit as I waited for people to get up.
We spent part of the morning and early afternoon getting things ready for the wedding itself.
I fell back into my awkwardness a lot today, hiding away pretty regularly, mostly when there wasn’t something to do to be of use to the whole wedding process.
The wedding day went smoothly for the most part. The only hiccup was the catering service that was 15 minutes late but didn’t say they were going to be late and weren’t answering their phones to ease concerns.
The wedding itself was beautiful. Chase broke down in a puddle of tears of joy.

It was awesome.
After the ceremony itself, and as the party began, I found my perfect shy-person job–videographer.
They had a photographer, but she didn’t do videos. So I spent most of the rest of the day/night as just about the only person taking videos (until the very last song when the DJ took a video).
So I got to hideaway, and I got to record priceless memories for Chase and Autumn that they never would have had otherwise.
π
One of the benefits for others of my being super shy.
Generally, no one believes that I’m shy and struggle in social situations because you can’t really tell on the outside. I’m outgoing and talkative.
It’s just on the inside that I’m all in nervous knots.
When there weren’t obvious video moments, I hid away, charging my phone and watching Castle.
Back and forth and back and forth.
Toward the end of the night, I mostly stayed out with people, chilling, chatting, giving Chase a send off on his honeymoon, hanging out with one of Chase’s friends as he played online poker.
Said goodbye to some others who were leaving as well, others with whom I’d made friends over the days here.
More Castle. Sleep.
Good day.
Lift the world.
