2025-02-08 (Saturday) — Why So Hard?

(written on the 10th)

Back to the Walmart routine. Wake up early and drive to the main parking lot, so as not to draw attention to myself. Then go back to bed. πŸ™ƒ

After getting some more sleep, I started doing my normal just answer work for the day. Right now, I’ve been working pretty much every day. I generally get paid a little more on the weekends because they sometimes offer extra bonuses for people who are willing to work weekends.

I spent a fair amount of time in the parking lot of Planet fitness, organizing stuff that’s been badly disorganized for a good while, and then selling my transmission fluid pressure testing set that I have never used to somebody from Facebook Marketplace who was willing to meet me at the Planet Fitness parking lot.

Each item I sell gets me a little more room inside Rover, so I’ve done pretty well at packing, so I don’t notice when some of the things leave because they were stored in little nooks and crannies here and there.

After selling the tester, I headed inside to actually work out–leg day.

I don’t know what the deal was, maybe I just hadn’t had anything to eat yet? But when I went to do my leg press exercise machine, even though it was the same weight as before, I couldn’t get the darn thing to budge!

Why so hard?!?!?

I double checked the weight, and it was correct.

😢

Same machine as always. Same weight.

πŸ€”

I don’t know.

🀷

I did manage to finally get the weight lifted and to finish my sets on all four exercises, three sets of 10 each, but man, did it kick my butt on the leg press!

From the gym parking lot, I headed back to Haven Hill, and believe it or not, being completely exhausted, I curled up in bed.Β

It’s only 7 p.m.

😴

Lift the world.
