(written on the 14th)
I woke up to pick frost on the inside of all my windows.
14° overnight, hitting its lowest point just before dawn, I think.
Gratefully, though my toes started out cold when I first went to bed, I woke up toasty warm curled up underneath my three layers of blankets.
I guess we’ll see how I do when the temperatures go negative next week. 🙃
I used an old canceled credit card to scrape the frost off of the driver’s window and the inside of the windshield.
I think the reason why I stayed toasty warm was that the humidity level was probably way down. I don’t recall seeing frost on the outside of anyone else’s windshields. Humidity, dew point, I don’t remember how that all works, so I’m probably wrong because I don’t know what I’m talking about. 🙃
Anyway, I dove into working for JustAnswer starting I think about 7:30 in the morning, working on and off all day as questions came up.
I hit the gym–biceps and back day. To my relief and gratitude, I didn’t have any issues with my rhomboid. There was only just the faint hint of their having been a problem.
🥳
I really appreciate that.
I decided to try working at the Bentonville public library for the first time. But it was clear to me that the library is such a quiet space that where I to take phone calls, I would be a significant annoyance to everyone, so I’ve now removed public libraries from potential working locations.
If my power station ever gets here, then it’s a moot point anyway because I can just work for my van wherever the heck I want to be, which was the original intent of getting that power station.
I also managed to overcome the significant desire to avoid cardio, and put in my 32 minutes at level 7 today.
Oh, did I mention that my clothes that I had hung up to dry overnight were frozen stiff in the morning? 😅
Yeah, they didn’t dry out, they just froze. 😆
But that was okay because I wore my regular clothes to do the weight training part of my exercise routine and then put on the cold damp clothes to do my cardio.
I’d like to think that maybe that helps keep me cool for at least 30 seconds. 🙃
I kept answering questions here and there as they popped up, finishing the day with a total of 28, I think.
Did some work and some tax stuff at the Wendy’s in Rogers, and then bounced around parking lots until it was time to go to bed for the night.
Got a notification from my travel deals website the round trip tickets from Kansas City to New Zealand were only $630.
😶
Very tempting.
Lift the world.
