(written on the 4th & 7th & 10th)
Hard day today.
I spent a good, long chunk of the day trying to figure out file stuff from The Great File Caper of 2025.
Aaaaaaand… I found that even more very important files are just gone.
π
Pretty discouraging.
I spent a lot of time trying to organize find, consolidate them, etc. I don’t remember well at this point, but I think I sat in the recliner most of the day working on stuff.
Spent some time chatting with Heather and Hans before heading over to Cascade Springs briefly and then driving to my normal stopping place outside Casper.
Stopped on the side of the highway because someone had left a gas can, but I accidentally put the brakes on too hard, and the cooler came flying forward, slamming against some other things, bending the lid on the new cooler.
Or so I thought.
Aaaaand I melted down.
Later, I realized it wasn’t the fall that deformed the lid: It’s the temperature difference. The lid goes flat in the heat and curls up in the cold–curling up so far that I think it breaks the seal completely, so it’s open to external air.
πΆ
Time for bed.
Gratitude to My Father:
- I’m grateful for my sister Heather’s encouragement during tough times.
We. Celebrate. Successes!!! π₯³:
- I don’t think I swore during my meltdown? π
Reflections on Where I Can Improve:
- I felt like maybe I shouldn’t have picked up that gas can… But I did anyway. π I could have left it for whoever lost it.
- No need to melt down. Yes, rough week, but still…
Goodnight, all!
Lift the world.
Bring it on.
