I got up later today. The other days that I’d stayed here, I’d left before the kids were heading to school, but not today.
Headed over to the Les Batkin reserve to organize myself and figure out what I was going to do today.
I spent a long time there. 🙃
I think there was a homeless lady in a van parked just down from me. Actually, I think there were a couple different homeless people the thing in their vans like me.
From what I understand, there’s a pretty sizable homeless population in New Zealand because of the super high cost of living.
After a while, I decided to head on over to the West Coast, to the little place called Sunset Beach, where I walked around, enjoyed the ocean and the sand and collected a handful of really pretty shells.
Hello chat with the Big Guy, wasted a whole bunch of time on useless things on my phone, which ended up leading to a relapse. 😕
Then I headed over to the Onewhero Rugby Club one last time. I turn on my rental tomorrow, so it’ll be an adventure after that. 😅
