I was pretty much just a vegetable today. 😅
I didn’t even leave the Freedom camping spot until a little after three in the afternoon 😶, being almost completely useless to the world other than spending some time walking around the parking lot picking up trash.
So I guess at least something is better for my having been there.
As late as it was already, I figured I had probably better find out where I was going to spend the night tonight, as I’ve been finding more and more that unless I get to a freedom camping place by early evening, I might well find that it’s all full.
I drove up to the Lindemann Lookout and veged out some more. 😅
I could have stayed the night there, as it was permitted, but I just… wasn’t feeling it, so I decided to try my luck at the Aongatete Long Loop Track parking lot.
I didn’t see any signs specifically permitting or prohibiting Freedom camping, so based on my understanding of the laws, I’m good. 🤞
