2020-09-07 — Finally 5:30

Hey, folks,

It’s been a rough day today, so I’m gonna just focus on gratitude and call it good.

#1. I’m grateful that I was able to get myself up at 5:30 this morning.

#2. I’m grateful that I was able to do all my morning dailies today–exercise, shower, prayer, meditation, personal study, and breakfast.

#3. I’m grateful that when I realized it was dark outside and the grass was really long, and I didn’t want to mess around with long wet grass and chiggers with the exercise I was planning on doing, that I didn’t hem and haw around, I just turned around and started jogging, and then I did some weight lifting.

#4. I’m grateful for today’s morning meditation period it was super super good. Sarah Blondin again. She’s my absolute favorite in the world. 🙂

#5. I’m grateful to be able to uplift and encourage my friends. I had one text me earlier today with a challenge she was going through, and I was able to encourage her and help her feel positive.

#6. I’m grateful for the kindness, understanding, and forgiveness of another friend of mine who, when I was trying to help, I ended up doing more harm than good, but she forgave me.

#7. I’m grateful that I was able to get the rest of the lawn mowed today.

#8. I’m grateful that I had enough work to give David a full day today even on the holiday. He’s needing a bit more money, and so he didn’t take the holiday off.

#9. I’m grateful to have my income increasing a bit again with me working now, too. (Well, I mean me working on cars as well, and not just doing administrative stuff)

#10. I’m grateful to be getting to bed at a decent hour period it’s going to be about 10:30, which is an hour later than my schedule, but it’s still better than late. I seem to need less sleep, perhaps, than I used to, anyway. So 10:30 might end up being the right bedtime anyway. 9:30 is pretty early. I used to do 9:30, I think. it was fabulous. We’ll see.

#11. I’m grateful the thought popped into my head to remind me that I left my groceries in the car tonight. Would not have been good to let the milk sit out in my car all night.

#12. I’m grateful to have been reminded to even go to the grocery store today. I got done with jobs around 7:30 or so, so I had enough time to get to the grocery store before it Covid closed.

#13. I’m grateful that I’m a less stressed out when things go wrong with work stuff. I just roll with it a lot more now than I used to, not worrying so much about losing money. part of that is probably because I’m doing well financially, so losing money here and there isn’t really that big of a deal.

#14. I’m grateful I was able to get the kitchen cleaned up decently well, as well as the leftover burned stuff that was strewn all over from me having dumped out the burn barrel before I left.

#15. I’m grateful that I had the discipline to start a load of laundry when I didn’t want to.

#16. I’m grateful to be mostly ready for the work day tomorrow, so I’m not gonna be scrambling around on the morning. I can just do not dailies without having to take much of a side step to get my tech going.
