Today was a bit of a nuthouse, but every day is a good day. It’s just good in different ways. 🙃
The best part of the day for me? Probably the 30 minutes I chose to take, time I didn’t really actually have, to go out to the woods this morning before leaving for my first job and to cut down a couple trees. They were much more challenging to get down than I’d hoped, but I got them down, and that was at least a success for the day. 😊
I had another success as well. I went out to a car that wouldn’t start, and I was able to figure out that someone had somehow removed a vehicle’s main PCM (computer) relay. Not sure how that managed to happen. 🙃
David had a great day, so that was nice as well. He did seven cars.
To my one. 🙃
Good day. Some pretty good frustrations here and there, but… every day is a good day. 🙃
#1. I’m grateful the trees came down without me getting hurt, without other trees getting too much damage. That was nice. 🙂
#2. I’m grateful that I was able to get that one van figured out and that the customers were super happy with me.
#3. I’m grateful for frozen poison mangoes. Love those things. 🙂
#4. I’m grateful for the great conversation I had with my brother Richard today. Good stuff.
#5. I’m grateful that my chainsaw is working well.
Thought of the Day: If you meet a sectary, or a hostile partisan, never recognize the dividing lines; but meet on what common ground remains,–if only that the sun shines, and the rain rains for both; the area will widen very fast, and ere you know it the boundary mountains, on which the eye had fastened, have melted into air. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Thanks, y’all. Keep on truckin’.

You are my lumberjack hero, Stephen! I have a 10″ electric chainsaw, but it doesn’t do big trees. 4″ diameter is about all it can do. Which is right at my comfort level, anyway. I do dream about taking down some of the big ones, though. Way to go!
