2021-05-17 — 4 Freaking 25. Thank You, Very Much.

I did it! I got up at 4:25!!! And I had a really solid morning routine, not perfect, but solid.

Yay!!! I got up at 4:25, and I did my room 5×5, servicise, shower, pray, meditate, personal gospel study, couple gospel study, and I did the house 5×5. I missed a few 5x5s and I didn’t work on my book, but otherwise, I did them all!!! Family study, breakfast.

Yay!! I finally did it!

I’m not so well prepared to do it again tomorrow, as it’s after 11 p.m. now, and to have kept my schedule, I should have been in bed 2 1/2 hours ago, but you know what? I’m still gonna get up at 4:25. Come hell and high water. Bring it on.

No more excuses. Not “I’m too tired.” Not “I’m depressed.” Not “I’m overwhelmed.” Not “I’m afraid.”

No more excuses. Do or do not. Right, Yoda? (obviously it’s more complicated than that, there is try, but yeah… I’m gonna do, thank you, very much!

So… yeah. That was the first part of the morning.

I had some really important things I wanted to chat with a friend about, and that conversation lasted pretty much the entire day, which meant that I didn’t even go out and work today except for one vehicle delivery of a job I’d already done. That was it. Sort of an impromptu day off, and it was rainy, so that helped. My friend and I probably talked for like… 10 hours today. Maybe longer. 🙃 But it was good. We were able to help each other work through some things.

I’ve been saying “no” a lot lately, referring potential customers to other mechanics. I still have a back log that needs to get done, but I’m making progress, I think, in saying no. In lightening my load.

#1. I’m grateful for a bit of a day off today. That was nice.

#2. I’m grateful for the beautiful beautiful rain. Loved that.

#3. I’m grateful for the things I learned today. I learned a lesson for how to communicate better, among other things.

#4. I’m grateful that though I was tired and didn’t get enough sleep, and though it was raining outside, I had the strength to get up at 4:25, and go do servicise in the rain. That was wonderful. I made a little bit of progress on the trails, for which I’m grateful.

#5. I’m grateful to have made a little bit of progress on getting my skid steer up and going. It was just a tiny thing, but I pulled off five or six zerks that were clogged and wouldn’t accept grease. So, I’ll clean those out, put them back on, and get the little gal greased up.

Love you all. Thanks, for your support! Progress!!

Lift the World.
