2022-01-23 — Jab Day Eve

Slept in today. Didn’t wake up for good until like… 6, so I’m not really tired right now, and I haven’t had the best day today, and I don’t really want to go to bed because I don’t really want to get up, but we’re here, and life just keeps lifing, and I’ve got stuff to do, so.

We’ll go to bed. And we’ll get up. And we’ll do it all again, again and again.

Tomorrow is jab day. Getting all the recommended shots for my Costa Rica trip. I wasn’t ever officially diagnosed with Covid, but I’m hoping I can get an some kind of official test saying I had it, because then that’s all the documentation I need to go to Costa Rica. Otherwise, I have to get a negative test the day I leave, or they won’t let me into the country, regardless of vaccination status.

So… jab day, and hopefully (but not realistically) proof day that I had and recovered from Covid in the last 90 days.

Well, folks. Off to bed.

G’night, y’all.

May we all sacrifice a little today for a better tomorrow, and therethrough lift the world.

  1. I heard that dogs, because of their keen sense of smell, never see the same world twice. They can smell the difference between a newly opened flower and a flower two days old. Insect trails. Animals passing. Everything. They come out into a brand new world every time they go outside. Even if it’s only been an hour. Oh, to have that sense of wonder! May Costa Rica be as amazing for you!
