2022-01-28 — Surprise Slow Day

Left early this morning to get the title and bills of sale to my friend Miguel for my GMC Terrain because, apparently, he’d found someone who was going to buy it. πŸ™‚

So I drove to his house in Bella Vista, dropped that off, and chatted with him for a decent little while. Then I headed way down south to Fayetteville to do a pre-purchase inspection on a 2009 BMW Z4. Only had 45k miles… but there were lots of red flags, and he was in Austin, Texas.

My recommendation was to not buy. He paid me an extra $50 for doing the inspection right when he asked for it. That was nice.

After that, the long job I had scheduled for today canceled. She just… hadn’t told me that. She’d had her dad get the car, while I was waiting for parts to come in.

Right.

I had other possible jobs I could do, but I hadn’t promised anyone anything for today, so I grabbed some stuff from the store really quickly, and then came home and have been home ever since. It was a great chance to work on my tax stuff, but… I couldn’t get myself going on it. Not even a little.

Gosh… I need to get this beaten back, this paralysis.

Had something rather huge happen today. Not something that’s… well… it’s a little awkward to share–embarrassing. Not sure I’m quite ready to share, but it was eye opening for me.

Hope y’all are well.

Loves and hugs.

Lift the World.

  1. If something is in the range of human experience, it shouldn’t be embarrassing. There could be people reading this who think they are the only one things happen to. Sharing builds connection! Reminds us the idea that we are alone is a fallacy πŸ™‚
