2022-02-02 — Snow Day!

It’s… 1:37 a.m., and the storm has been raging outside for a number of hours now–the wind howling pretty good. I finally looked outside just a few minutes ago, and what did I see? A nice thick white blanket covering the earth. 🙂

I had no idea until today. I knew it was going to be cold… but then I saw reports of anywhere between 4 and 12 inches of snow in the coming storm.

That’s… really rare here. But…

I love it. Seeing that blanket of snow just brings a smile to my face. 🙂🙂

Been a fairly leisurely, and a very cold day. I worked on finance stuff in the morning. Then I went to do a quick battery job that was relatively on the way to Miguel’s shop. I was wearing shorts, and… it was colder than I expected. Just a quick battery job, and the only job I was going to do today, so I figured it would be fine. Funny, just the short time I was out there, I got cold enough to not be able to move my mouth all that well to talk to the customer when I was done. 🙃

After that quick job, I went over to Miguel’s shop to get the payments he owed me–trying to get as much financial stuff taken care of before flying out on Monday. After that, I returned some stuff to AutoZone, made one more stop, and then I headed home. I’ve been working on financial stuff since.

Making good progress. Slow, but it is steady, and that’s encouraging.
