Storm was strong enough last night that it woke me up. I think that was last night anyway. Blurring together now. Rained a good portion of the day today. Was lucky I was able to do the complete diagnosis of a 2013 F150 using just my scan tool sitting inside the cabin while it poured and thundered loudly.
The rain is coming down super hard right now–crazy hard. Love it.
Anyway, just two jobs today. The first one, the Ford (which turned out to have a bad ignition lock cylinder) and then after going home for a while, someone else called, two someones, so I decided to go back out since it’d stopped raining. They were providing their own part, and of course they had the wrong one, so it ended up taking a lot longer than it should have and costing them a lot more than it should have.
But it got done. The other car I’ll do tomorrow, though it’s going to rain all day tomorrow as well it appears.
Made some good decisions today, despite being pretty far in the pit. Avoiding spending money on comfort crap. That was one good choice. And I powered through the abyss to get some things done that needed to get done. So that was another good choice.
